What is Crossfit
CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Since then it has evolved to be an all inclusive fitness program for people of any athletic capability. Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.
The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind. Our armed forces, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

I'm new to CrossFit. What should I expect?
Iconic Fitness: Home of CrossFit Duo offers a FREE intro class to get you familiarized with a standard CrossFit class. When you join, you will enroll in our Elements program. Your first week is comprised of 3 classes in a small-group introductory setting designed to teach you the foundational movements to becoming proficient at the most challenging and technical exercises.
Is CrossFit dangerous?
In short, yes, CrossFit can be dangerous. But not in the ways you might believe. With improper coaching, unkept equipment and a misguided attitude, CrossFit can be very dangerous – but so can riding your bike or driving your car. The experienced and proven CrossFit coaches you’ll find at Iconic Fitness: Home of CrossFit Duo will ensure that you’re training in the safest most effective and efficient way possible.
